Tulsa Police arrested a 22-year-old man after a home invasion burglary and chase near Catoosa early Friday.
Officers were called to the home in the 200 block of South 181st East Avenue just before 1:20 a.m. They said a man returned home and told police he encountered the suspect inside with a gun. Raymond Gerard says his girlfriend was asleep in the home at the time.
After exchanging words with the suspect, Gerard said the man left in the girlfriend's 2012 Ford Focus.
Police said officers spotted the car several hours later and tried to stop it, but the driver took off, with officers in pursuit.
The chase ended when they said Dillon Magni crashed into a car at 23rd and Darlington near the Tulsa County Fairgrounds.
Magni was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints including burglary, eluding, armed robbery and resisting arrest. Police say a female passenger in the car was questioned by officers.
Oklahoma Department of Corrections records show Dillon Magni was released from prison in May 2016 after serving time for several Tulsa County convictions including possession of a stolen vehicle and domestic assault and battery.
