Tulsa County Deputies Arrest Man Accused Of Robbing Ron's Hamburgers

Tulsa County deputies arrested a man they say robbed the Ron's Hamburgers near 15th and Denver around 10:30 Saturday morning.

Employees told officers the man implied he had a gun.

Investigators say the employees followed the suspect for a few blocks after he left the restaurant, leading deputies to 50-year-old Robert Wirdz.

Wirdz is now in the Tulsa County jail on complaints of armed robbery. Records show he’s being held on a $100,000 bond.
