Coal County Man Arrested For Shooting Another Man In The Face

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation arrested a man for shooting another man in the face in Coalgate Wednesday night.

He is identified as 48-year-old Robert Stockwell.

Coalgate Police asked for OSBI's assistance after the 9 p.m. shooting outside a local bar.  They said Stockwell allegedly shot 40-year-old Robert Buckley in the face then drove off.  

A deputy stopped Robert Stockwell's vehicle 30 minutes later outside of town.  After being questioned by the OSBI, Stockwell was arrested on an attempted murder complaint and booked into the Coal County jail.

Buckley was taken and admitted to an Oklahoma City hospital.
