3 Plead Guilty In Connection With 2015 Murder

Three men have pleaded guilty in connection with the 2015 murder of Jacob Shadrik.

Cousins Brandy, Xavier, and Isadore Jordan all faced murder charges but pleaded guilty to accessories after the fact.

Xavier and Isadore were both sentenced to 15 years while Brandy was sentenced to 20.

A fourth suspect, Jerrick Washington, had his charges of felony murder and possession of a firearm dismissed in January.

In June 2015, police were called to the Comanche Park Apartments at 36th Street North and Peoria; a woman called saying someone was breaking into her apartment.

Police said the woman and her two children left the apartment after the initial call but her husband was still inside.

Police said they entered the apartment and found Shadrik’s body shot to death.

Court documents say that Brandy told investigators the murder was over a drug deal gone wrong.
