Eufaula Public Schools Closed Monday Due To Water Problems

A representative of Eufaula Public Schools says school has been canceled due to a city water outage. Superintendent Jennette Smith said the outage is city-wide.

Eufaula Police confirmed the outage affects the whole city. The water break was to an 8-inch break located at 5th and Foley.

In an update, the City of Eufaula said the pipe has been replaced, and water has been restored as of 10 a.m. They should have full pressure soon.

They hope to have water restored by 1 p.m. but will update the public if that changes.
