Police have one man in custody and continue to search for a second suspect after two Wellston Police officers were shot Sunday evening while responding to a shooting call, police said.
The officers were shot about 6:30 p.m. October 23, 2016, in the Wellston area, which is in Lincoln County.
Both officers suffered non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
Officers arrested one of the two suspects thought to be involved in the shooting but haven't identified the suspect yet.
Authorities continue to search for the second suspect who's been identified as 38-year-old Michael Vance.
Vance is a white man, is about 5'10 and weighs about 185 pounds.
Police said the suspect fled in a white Lincoln Towncar with a blue top.
The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office is investigating with the assistance of nearly a half-dozen OSBI special agents.
