Jenks Woman Arrested After Crashing Into Parked Truck

<p>A Jenks woman was booked into jail for suspicion of driving under the influence after a crash on Interstate 44 near Highway 75 overnight. &nbsp;</p>

A Jenks woman was booked into jail for suspicion of driving under the influence after a crash on westbound Interstate 44 near Highway 75 overnight.

Troopers said Rosa Angelica Cunningham crashed her car into a pickup that was parked on the shoulder of the highway around 3 a.m. EMSA treated Cunningham at the scene, and OHP gave her a a field sobriety test, before putting her in handcuffs.

Trooper Colt Duncan said the woman was lucky to only have minor injuries.

"Any crash at highway speeds has the potential to be fatal but fortunately this one was not," he said.

No one else was hurt in the crash. The 35-year-old woman was booked into jail on DUI and failure to keep in proper lane.
