Some people showed support for Tulsa Police Officer Betty Shelby on Saturday.
Supporters gathered outside the Tulsa County courthouse with signs in support of law enforcement officers and officer Shelby.
“I just think our police officers need our support,” said law enforcement supporter Amanda Miller. “They are out there defending my family, defending yours and they don’t even know these people. And they put their lives on the line, and I think showing support it's necessary.”
Shelby is charged with first-degree manslaughter after the shooting death of Terence Crutcher.
Miller says there's going to be another rally on November 29, the day of Shelby's preliminary hearing.
