The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says two Tulsa teenagers died when a chase ended in a crash on a Tulsa Highway.
Troopers said the two teenagers, ages 16 and 17, were killed when the 2001 Toyota sedan they were in crashed in the northbound lanes of Highway 169 at 11th Street at about 12:45 a.m.
Troopers say the chase began at 31st and Garnett after a trooper attempted to stop the car for an expired tag.
The OHP says the pursuit headed west to Highway 169 and then north. Troopers say the driver lost control of the 2001 Toyota sedan near 11th Street and it rolled over several times, ejecting four of the five teens and pinning the fifth inside.
The OHP report says a 15-year-old is in critical condition, a 14-year-old and a 16-year-old were stable when they were taken to the hospital.
The report says because all five were juveniles, their names are not being released.
The crash closed the northbound lanes of the highway were closed for about five hours.
