TPD: Man Suspected Of Meeting Juvenile Found Locked In Trunk

Tulsa police say a man suspected of going to meet an underage girl ended up being locked in the trunk of a car.

Officers stopped a car near 54th Street North and MLK Boulevard.

The driver ran off and police heard someone yelling from the trunk.

Officers said the 22-year-old man took them to a house where it all apparently started.

Investigators said he told them two men with the 14-year-old girl beat him up and abducted him.

Officers didn't arrest the man in the trunk because they couldn't find proof he was meeting up with the teen for sex.
