"We have very little information on what transpired in the parking lot at 5002 S Memorial. We believe that some sort of transaction was happening when something goes wrong and Ponder is shot," police said in its report.
The surveillance video shows a large white car parking in a parking spot and soon after a black Chrysler arrives and parks next to the white car. A fight ensues and soon Ponder runs off before he collapses. Both the white car and the Chrysler drive off, police said.
"We believe that Ponder arrived in the black Chrysler and he could possibly have been armed. We are reviewing video to determine who may have seen the exchange and possibly to identify the participants," police said.
TPD is asking anyone that may have videoed the fight or took a cellphone picture during the killing to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-2677 or the
