Woman Shot In Face In Tulsa Home

Police say a woman was taken to a Tulsa hospital after she was shot in the face late Wednesday.

Officers say the husband and wife were the only ones home at the time. It's located in the 1000 block of North Winston.

Police say the husband is cooperating with investigators. Police say they believe the shooting was an accident, but are still investigating.

The shooting happened at around 10:30 p.m.  The woman was unconscious when emergency crews arrived, police said.
