Dozens of pets have a new home this weekend thanks to the 11th annual Woofstock festival held Saturday. More than 40 rescue groups met at the Jenks Riverwalk to find the right families for dozens of dogs.
Dogs competed in different contests and demonstrations hoping to charm their way into the hearts of new families.
"We bring rescues together for one common goal - to adopt animals out from rescues and shelters," said Jamee Suarez, Oklahoma Alliance for Animals.
Woofstock is the largest adoption festival in Oklahoma.
