The Tulsa Police Department said it is investigating a collision involving a motorcycle at 1525 North 105th East Avenue. One person was critically injured, TPD said.
Police said the motorcycle was east on Pine Street when a pickup truck, also going east, crashed into the motorcycle.
Sergeant Justin Farley said the motorcycle driver was thrown from the motorcycle and wasn't wearing a helmet. He said the driver received head wounds and internal injuries. Police said he's in critical condition.
Officers requested a blood test for the truck driver, which is still under investigation.
"Witnesses on the scene thought that something was definitely wrong with him," Farley said. "Definitely law enforcement officers could tell something wasn't quite right. He did appear as if he could be intoxicated."
Police have not said what charges the driver may face. Farley said it would depend on the results of the blood test.
