Report: Angelina Jolie Files For Divorce From Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are ending their marriage, according to reports.

The actress filed for a dissolution of their marriage, Reuters reports Jolie’s attorney as saying.

“This decision was made for the health of the family. She  will not be commenting, and asks that the family be given its  privacy at this time,” attorney Robert Offer said in a statement obtained by Reuters.

TMZ reports Jolie cited irreconcilable differences in her filing. She is reportedly asking for full physical custody of the couple’s six children, but joint legal custody.

The website reports she is not asking for spousal support, and that Jolie lists the date of separation as Sept. 15, 2016.

The couple tied the knot after a long relationship in August, 2014.
