Sapulpa Police Stop Stolen Truck, Find Drugs And A Gun

Sapulpa Police have three people in custody after an overnight pursuit in the Sand Springs area. Police said the truck the people were riding in was stolen in Tulsa. It was hauling a trailer that had recently been repainted, and police tell us it was stolen as well.

The chase started in Sapulpa, and the driver pulled over just outside the Sand Springs city limits at 51st Street. Police said he stopped when he saw officers putting down stop sticks.

Officers tell us they found some drugs and a gun inside the stolen vehicle.
