Tulsa Man Arrested After Running From Police

A Tulsa man is in jail this morning after he failed to stop when the TPD attempted to pull him over. 

Police said officers saw Tony Davis driving erratically near I-44 and Garnett around 11 p.m. Friday night.

When they tried to pull him over, Davis drove away, headed west on I-44 toward Highway 75, police said.

That’s when TPD saw the man throw something from his vehicle.

"Officers observed him throw something out of the driver's side window. We since recovered what we believed he threw out of the window, it was a cup we believed contained alcohol,” said TPD SGT. Brian Hill.

Officers arrested Davis at his parents’ house near 41st Street and Highway 75.
