Motorcyclist Thrown From Bridge In Tulsa Wreck

A wreck sent one man to a hospital in critical condition and closed part of the IDL Saturday night.

Tulsa police said that a motorcyclist  coming off of the Tisdale Expressway onto I-244 hit a wall on the bridge around 7:30 p.m. The rider was thrown about 20 feet off the bridge - landing on the Sand Springs Expressway below.

Both the exit to the Sand Springs Expressway and off of the Tisdale were closed for several hours. Police still aren't sure why the rider hit the wall.
