Police arrested a 30-year-old Tulsa man after they say he cut another man with a knife during an argument late Wednesday.
Officers were called to the 10900 block of East 15th Street about a disturbance between neighbors involving racial slurs at around 10:30 p.m. After resolving the matter, police left but were called back 30 minutes later on a shots fired call.
Police Sgt. Jeff Edwards said they learned no shots had been fired, but said Justin Lucas, 30, had cut his neighbor with a knife after yelling racial slurs at him.
Officers found Lucas hiding in the attic of his home and took him into custody.
Police booked Justin Lucas into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of assault and battery with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest.
Jail records show Lucas has a court appearance set for September 1st.
The victim was treated at the scene by paramedics, but not taken to the hospital.
