The Oklahoma Highway Patrol arrested a motorcyclist after a chase and crash in east Tulsa late Friday.

He was identified as 45-year-old Alfred Moeller of Tulsa.

Troopers said at around 11 p.m. they spotted a group of motorcyclists racing and running red lights on Memorial Drive.

The OHP tried to stop one of the motorcycles, but its rider and his passenger took off.

They said the chase wound its way through several neighborhoods before crashing after going down some steps at an apartment complex near 51st and Memorial.

Both the rider and passenger were thrown from the bike.  The female passenger ran away but troopers caught up with and arrested Alfred Moeller.

Moeller was booked into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of eluding and reckless driving.  Jail records show he has a court appearance set for August 26th.
