A man in a stolen car led police on a chase in north Tulsa overnight. Bradley Allen Fielding is in jail after a chase police said only lasted about four miles.

Police said around 1 a.m. Sunday, an officer noticed a car matching the description of one used in a burglary near North Harvard and Virgin. She tried to pull the driver over, but he sped away.

Officers used stop sticks to slow the driver down.

"Once that occurred, a few more minutes of just kind of goofing around and the vehicle finally pulled over, and two occupants were successfully detained without any incident," said Corporal Adam Dawson.

Authorities said there may have been stolen items in the car as well. Fielding, a convicted felon, was booked on complaints of possession of a stolen vehicle, eluding and driving under suspension. He had outstanding warrants for methamphetamine possession and possession of stolen property.

The 37-year-old man is a Broken Arrow resident, records show.
