You can see get a unique glimpse into World War II history this Saturday, thanks to the Batfish Living History Day: Summer Cruise.
The Muskogee War Memorial Park's executive director said Saturday's tours are a unique chance to experience World War II like never before.
That's because members of the Batfish Living History Association will serve as the crew, recreating actual living conditions.
As you walk through the submarine's nine compartments, you'll see what veterans would have experienced.
The park's director calls it "an unreal experience" and says, "if you blink the right way you might just find yourself deep in the pacific fighting the Axis threat."
The special Summer Cruise tours are this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for a seniors, students and veterans, and $4 for children.
