Firefighters told News On 6 they believe the issue was weather related, caused by strong winds. The pole snapped with the lines still attached.

About 2,000 customers were already without power in Sapulpa after a storm with strong winds, according to OG&E. Outages are scattered throughout the town.
The number has been reduced to under 1,000 by 8:34 a.m.
The storm also left downed limbs and debris in the streets. The storm blew through around 1:45 a.m.
The electric company hopes to have power restored by mid-morning.
