Driver Arrested For DUI After Multi-Vehicle Tulsa Wreck

An early morning  crash led to an arrest for driving under the influence. The multiple-vehicle crash shut down the westbound lanes at Interstate 44 and Peoria for over an hour starting around 1:30 a.m.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said a truck hauling a car slowed down in the westbound lanes of the highway, and a car slammed into them from behind. That dislodged the car from the trailer.

A second collision took place when a westbound pickup slowed down due to the first crash, and it was hit from behind by a pickup. The driver of the pickup was arrested for DUI.

Troopers said there were no serious injuries, but two people were taken to the hospital to be checked out.
