Westbound I-44 Traffic Backed Up In Tulsa Construction Zone

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says semis trying to negotiate a construction zone curve on Interstate-44 at West 51st Street South slowed westbound traffic. 

Troopers said semis are going slowly on a one-lane curve in the highway at the bridge and that has backed up traffic for miles.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is advising driver to seek an alternative to avoid the backup.
