Woman Hit In Foot In Tulsa Drive-By Shooting

Police said a woman was wounded in the foot while in her Tulsa home Sunday. She was in her bedroom in the 9700 block of East Pine when a drive-by shooting took place, according to Tulsa Police.

Officers told News On 6 they were at a QuikTrip near Pine and Mingo when they heard what they first thought might be fireworks. They investigated and found two young kids in the front yard who said their mother had been shot.

The woman, 34, was taken to the hospital. Police said the suspect vehicle went eastbound on Pine while driving by the house. No word on whether the home was being targeted or not.
