Couple Pleads Guilty To Sex Trafficking Tulsa Girl

A Florida woman and a North Carolina man pleaded guilty to sex trafficking a 14-year-old Tulsa girl.

Jasmine Lynch, 24, of Jacksonville, Florida, pleaded guilty on Tuesday. Ryan Patrick Wise, 35, of Greensboro, North Carolina, pleaded guilty on June 7, 2016. 

According to court documents, Lynch and Wise admitted that in November 2015, they recruited the 14-year-old girl from Tulsa to engage in prostitution with men. Lynch and Wise rented hotel and motel rooms in Tulsa to provide the underage girl for prostitution purposes, the documents say.

Lynch and Wise advertised the 14-year-old girl for sex on a web site. Prosecutors say they took the girl to the mall to buy clothes for their scheme and taught her how to dress and wear makeup. 

Prosecutors say Wise threatened to kill the girl if she told anyone about what they were doing. They say Lynch and Wise were preparing to take the girl to California when they were arrested.

They each face at least 10 years and up to life in prison when they're sentenced in September.
