This week's Tulsa mayoral debate got a lot of attention when perennial candidate Paul Tay interrupted the event.

Current mayor Dewey Bartlett and councilman GT Bynum were finishing up a debate when Tay stormed the Tulsa Community College studio, upset that he wasn't he wasn't invited to participate.

"You have blocked me one too many times,” perennial candidate Paul Tay said. “You have blocked me. You have blocked other candidates one too many times. I'm tired of it.  I'm tired of it, get it?"

That is when mayor Dewey Bartlett called 911 on his cellphone.  The mayor's chief of staff eventually got on the phone with a police 911 operator and explained what was going on.

TCC security officers eventually escorted Tay out of the building.
