Despite some criticism over a Race Against Racism or "Skunk Run" in downtown Tulsa Saturday, about 50 runners took part in the second annual event.

The Celebration of Reconciliation event started near the Brady Theatre and ended at the Guthrie Green after winding its way along Greenwood and around the OSU-Tulsa campus.

The organizer of the event, Richard Baxter faced some controversy on social media earlier this month for where the fun run was held.

One runner who participated said location aside, Saturday's race celebrated progress and steps being taken in the right direction.

Following the run, a celebration was held at the Guthrie Green.
