Home Depot volunteers are teaming up with Meals On Wheels to transform the homes of some Tulsa veterans.
Thursday, they announced a mission to make sure the veterans who rely on Meals on Wheels also have safe housing.
They'll work on a variety of projects - including building ramps, repairing doors, improving bathrooms, and other jobs that make a home safer and more secure.
"It's a point of personal pride between Home Depot and Meals On Wheels to be able to serve these citizens and give back to them because they've given so much to us. And just to see the gratefulness on their face, it's extremely humbling," said Calvin Moore with Meals On Wheels.
Since the partnership started a month ago, Meals On Wheels identified at least ten veterans who could use the help.
Meals On Wheels of Metro Tulsa serves 106 veterans.
