A festival this Saturday in Tulsa will celebrate our country's servicemen and women.
The event is the Route 66 PatriotFest and it is being held along Southwest Boulevard and the Route 66 Village and Webster High School.
It will include a car show, military exhibits, and a car and motorcycle cruise along Route 66. Admission is free, but donations are accepted and will benefit Folds Of Honor and other local military organizations.
"This is an exciting time for our city and county to unite together to honor the people that give us the freedoms we have today," said Tulsa city councilor Jeannie Cue.
The Route 66 PatriotFest runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 28.
