Police arrested a Skiatook woman they say went to a concert and left her three young children at home with someone who couldn't take care of them.
Officers said they were called to the home at 9:30 p.m. Monday to check on two 10-month-old infants and a mentally handicapped bed-ridden 6-year-old boy. They said the home had no electricity or running water.
Police said they found an adult at the home who said the children's mother, 25-year-old Samantha Williams, had left for a concert at about 5:30 p.m.
Police have not identified the adult. They say the woman did not know how to operate the 6-year-old's feeding tube which was required every two hours and she was unable to make formula for the two infants.
Police called the Department of Human Services after finding rotten food in the refrigerator and the 6-year-old lying in a urine-soaked bed.
Officers said Williams' sister arrived and called Samantha who returned home at 12:45 a.m. Tuesday. Police booked her into the Tulsa County jail on complaints of child abuse and child neglect.
Jail records show Samantha Williams is being held on a $100,000 bond with a court appearance set for June 1.
DHS turned custody of the three children over to Williams' sister.
