Fifth Arrest Made In Tulsa Beating Death

Tulsa Police made an arrest in a beating death after a high-speed chase. Lucious Adams, 18, is in custody for first-degree murder.

Officers say Adams was speeding on Highway 169 near 11th Street in a PT Cruiser. They tried to pull him over, but he took off. He crashed on Pine Street near Highway 11, an arrest report states.

Adams suspected in the March beating death of 41-year-old Joe Perez.

Ernest Edwards, Tonyo Hughes and Romelo Northington are all in the Tulsa County Jail on murder charges for the same crime. A juvenile, age 17, has also been charged.
