City crews have closed down roads in downtown Tulsa in preparation for Mayfest. The arts, music and food festival starts Thursday in the area of 3rd and Boston.

If you've been to Mayfest before, it will be held in the same sections of downtown they have in the past. It's from 3rd Street to 7th Street and essentially from Boulder to Boston.

The festival will open Thursday morning at 11 a.m. and will be open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day until Sunday. On Sunday, the hours are 11am to 6 p.m. On their website, the city estimates 400,000 people will be downtown for Mayfest over the next several days.

Don't forget about the Blue Dome Arts Festival, that's also running this weekend downtown. Roads in the Blue Dome district will be closed down starting at 5 a.m. Thursday. Cars will likely be towed from that area as well if they're preventing crews from doing their jobs.

That's in the area surrounding 2nd and Elgin.
