Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said they took a man into custody after he crashed two pickups in Creek County Tuesday morning.

It happened about three miles west of Kiefer at 151st Street South and South Hickory.

The man wrecked one vehicle then called someone who gave him a ride to his father's house, the OHP said. He then got into his father's pickup and wrecked it, according to troopers.

When a Creek County deputy arrived at the second crash scene, the man ran off. The deputy quickly caught up to him.

The OHP arrested him on suspicion of driving under the influence.
