Two Injured, Arrested After Muskogee Police Chase

Muskogee Police say two suspects ended up in the hospital after a high-speed chase Friday.  

An officer say a truck nearly hit him at a stoplight, so he attempted to stop the driver.  But instead, police said the driver took off, speeding through several stoplights, parking lots and road blocks.

Officers said eventually, the truck hit another car at North 24th and Court Streets and rolled, landing on its top.  They said the driver and a passenger got out and ran, but police caught up with both.   Police had to use a Taser to arrest one suspect.  The other was found hiding inside a dump truck.

Both were taken to a Muskogee hospital for injuries suffered in the crash.  

Police said two people in the car hit by the truck were also treated at the scene for injuries.
