The Oklahoma Highway Patrol recovered the bodies of two brothers who went missing Saturday evening in the Kiamichi River 8 miles west of Albion. Troopers say Daniel Panisiak, 17, and 21-year-old Dustin Panisiak were found near Dry Creek around 7 p.m. Tuesday.

A trooper's report states the older brother was trying to wade across the river to the other side when he stepped off a shoal and went under. Danny Panisiak went into the water to help his brother, but neither resurfaced.
