The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says one person has died in a single-vehicle crash in Osage County. Troopers identified the victim of Sunday's crash as 21-year-old Jacob E. Lanphear of Barnsdall.
The crash occurred shortly after midnight on a county road about one-and-one-half miles south of Barnsdall. Troopers say Lanphear's pickup truck left the roadway and slid more than 200 feet before it rolled over. The patrol says the victim was partially ejected from the vehicle through the driver's side window.
Troopers say the driver was pinned beneath the vehicle for about 15 minutes and died at the scene due to internal injuries. The patrol says the victim was not wearing a seatbelt.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
