Tulsa Driver Who Left Fatal Crash Scene Arrested For Second-Degree Murder

<p>Christopher Mitchell was booked for second-degree murder for the crash that killed Stacie Dry, 22. He also is being held for leaving the scene of an accident that injured others.</p>

Tulsa police have arrested a man who they say was the driver in a crash that killed a 22-year-old woman on Tuesday.

Christopher Mitchell, 27, of Cleveland, Oklahoma was booked for second-degree murder and leaving the scene of an injury accident. He is being held at the Tulsa County jail in lieu of $502,000.

Officers say Mitchell was driving a Ford Fusion when he slammed into a motorcycle at 61st and Yale, then crashed a second time into a car, killing Stacie Dry.

The driver and passenger of the motorcycle were not injured.

The night of the crash, police said they believe alcohol was involved.

"The driver may face several charges, pending further investigation, and the results of his blood," a police report states.
