Fire damaged an east Tulsa home early Friday.
Firefighters said a family living in the 10900 block of East 28th Place was getting their children ready for school when they heard what sounded like an explosion on the home's back patio.
After getting the family outside, they called the fire department who arrived and put out the fire.
Firefighters said the fire was largely contained to the home's exterior, but some fire spread to the attic causing smoke damage inside the home.
The fire department says no one was injured and are now trying to determine the fire's cause.
