A judge sentenced a man to 33 years in prison for a deadly shooting outside an Owasso convenience store. Jacob Pepper pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of Emmett Wood last July.

Wood was killed at the Kum & Go in the 8600 block of North Main Street in July, 2015. Court records state Pepper was using methamphetamine when he met Wood at the gas station, robbed and shot him.

The two other men who were with Pepper during the shooting were initially arrested in Wood's death, but charges against them were dismissed in December 2015.
