Tulsa police say an arrest has been made in a Saturday afternoon homicide. Okmulgee Police took 39-year-old Eric Bradford into custody.
"Bradford was located in a vehicle, stopped and arrested without incident," said Tulsa Homicide Sergeant Dave Walker.
The fatal shooting, which took place at East 54th Street North and North Frankfort Place before 3:30 p.m. Saturday, began as a verbal argument over a woman, police say.
"The victim parked his SUV in the driveway... and the suspect followed," a news release says. "The suspect shot the victim in the head and fled."
The victim -- 37-year-old Daniel Watashe -- was found dead next to the SUV, and a gun was found next to his body, TPD says.

Bradford was booked into the Tulsa County jail Sunday evening for first-degree murder and felony possession of a firearm.
Officers say Bradford admitted to them he shot Watashe. And after that, Bradford told them, he threw the gun in the river and fled to Okmulgee.
We looked into Bradford's criminal past, and it's a lengthy one. His most recent charges were just two months ago for driving without a license, obstructing an officer and possessing marijuana.
