Broken Arrow Police say they have one person in custody after an armed robbery of a business in the 2400 block of West Kenosha Thursday evening.

Officers said at 8:48 p.m. they were flagged down about a robbery at the Game Stop store. Police say two suspects entered the store showed pistols and demanded money from the store's cash register.

As the pair was leaving, police said a witness tried to stop the robbers.  During  a confrontation, one of the suspects fired a shot into a nearby store's window, before both ran away.  They said the witness was not injured.

Police tracked the pair to the 2600 block of West Joliet Court and with the help of a K-9 officer found one suspect hiding in a garage and arrested him.

Police recovered a handgun and the money taken in the robbery.

The search for the second suspect continues.
