As many Oklahomans might predict, a new study out by WalletHub.com confirms Oklahoma is #1 in the number of casinos per capita and #3 in the number of gaming machines per capita.

WalletHub released its 2016 report Tuesday on the Most Gambling-Addicted States.

WalletHub.com says overall, Oklahoma ranks fifth in the country for gambling behind Nevada, South Dakota, Mississippi and Montana.
Arkansas was ranked 31 and Kansas 46.

The report lists Oklahoma as #11 in the percentage of adults with gambling disorders and #18 in gambling-related arrests per capita.

WalletHub.com says it compared the 50 states across several key data factors from “presence of illegal gambling operations” to “lottery sales per capita” to “percentage of people with gambling disorders.”
