Former Oklahoma State Cowboy Jordy Mercer hit his first home run of the season Friday night, and it was a monster.

The solo blast in the third inning went 466 feet, passing former Driller Nolan Arenado for the longest of the season so far.

The Pittsburgh Pirate has now recorded multiple hits in three of his last four games to raise his average to 305.
