Semi Wreck Narrows Traffic On EB I-44 At 129th East Avenue

A semi wreck narrowed traffic on eastbound Interstate 44 at 129th East Avenue. The wreck backed up traffic during the noon hour Monday.

The truck hit a retraining wall and jack-knifed, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. The cab came to a rest hanging part way off the wall.

No word yet on any injuries.

Tulsa Police have worked several accidents Monday, many blamed on the wet roads. This wreck is not far from the overturned cattle truck that caused a huge slowdown on the westbound Interstate 44 near 145th East Avenue.
