Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin, Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett and Tulsa Chamber President Mike Neal are in New York City Friday to meet with Williams Companies board of directors in an effort save the firm's Tulsa jobs.

The three say the one day trip is an effort to convince Williams Companies board to keep the firm's headquarters in Tulsa.  As part of the merger with Energy Transfer Equity, the company headquarters are expected to move to Dallas.

Late last month, Williams began laying off Tulsa workers ahead of the planned merger.
