Tulsa Mom Pleads Guilty To Child Neglect

The mother of four Tulsa children who escaped a house fire in January on North Lewis has pleaded guilty to child neglect charges.  

Krystal Penheiro, 31, admitted leaving the children alone in the house.  On January 15, Penheiro told News on 6 that her 10-year old was old enough to babysit the other three children.

The grandfather of the children, Lee Snell, 64, pleaded no contest to child neglect charges in March and is scheduled to be sentenced May 9.

Court records show Penheiro is scheduled to be sentenced May 31.
