Local Organization Holds Fashion Show To Celebrate Beauty Of All Types

A local organization is hosting a fashion show to celebrate beauty in all its forms.

We Are Beautiful’s ‘Viva La Spring,’ fashion show provides an evening for women to see the latest fashion through a runway with models of all shapes and sizes.

This is the second year the organization has hosted a fashion show, and We Are Beautiful founder, Marialicia Coates said she is expecting the second year to be even bigger.

“Last year’s fashion show was a huge success, but we are expecting more this year. We have a bigger venue, more collections and a specific message: ‘Let’s embrace and celebrate who we are,’” she said.

The Viva La Spring show is March 31 from 7-9 p.m. at Noah’s Event Venue at 12710 East State Farm Boulevard South. Tickets are $30 for general admission or $60 for VIP with funds benefiting We Are Beautiful.
