Tulsa Police Taser Man Who Broke Into Home Of Ex-Girlfriend's Parents

A man is in jail after police say he broke into his ex-girlfriend's parents' house.

They called police around 3 a.m. saying 28-year-old Xavier Garcia-Santiago came to their home drunk and broke a window.

When police arrived to the home near Pine and Harvard, they say Santiago tried to get away.

Officers say it was hard to get him in handcuffs because he was swinging his arms violently.

Police say, when they got him into a patrol car, he tried to run away again, so they tasered him.

Santiago now faces first-degree burglary charges.
